Programme 3 of New Video / New Europe documents the transition of labour and national identity as Eastern Europe shifts from isolation to globalisation. The programme includes Sislej Xhafa's sly insertion of Wall Street antics into a Ljubljana trainstation and Romanian Mircea Cantor's paradoxical tale about the genesis of an absurd commodity in a new market economy.
